On June 24, about 40 people blocked the traffic on the 125 km of the Kiev – Chop road in the Zhymotyr region in Western Ukraine. Protesters demanded that local troops participating in the “anti terrorist operation” in the East should be brought back.
On June 19 there was a protest by relatives of soldiers in the southern city of Mykolayiv (Nikolayev).
Soldiers’ relatives from Chernivtsi continued today, June 20, to block the international highway demanding that the soldiers be brought back from the Donbas, where they are part of Kiev’s “anti-terrorist operation.”
On June 19, about 100 mothers of soldiers blocked the Chernivtsi – Zhytomyr highway at its passing by the Magala village, outside Chernivtse. They were demanding that their sons be brought back from the “anti terrorist operation” in the East.
On June 8, a group of 100 soldiers’ relatives blocked troops from the 3033 military unit based in Melitopol, Zaporizhia, from being sent to the fight in the government’s “anti terrorist operation”.
