Soldiers’ relatives from Chernivtsi continued today, June 20, to block the international highway demanding that the soldiers be brought back from the Donbas, where they are part of Kiev’s “anti-terrorist operation.”
“Dear Mr. President, Dear Prime Minister – our countryman, we – mothers of Bukovina -, before you fall on your knees, help us get all the men back to Bukovina. … We are for peace and the future of Ukraine, please help”.
These latest protests in Chernivtsi are part of a growing movement of soldiers’ relatives against the war and demanding that the soldiers, conscript and reservists, be brought back from the front. The movement has spread to different regions, including Lviv, Kherson, Melitopol, Volhynia, amongst others.
